Donna J. Barber

Donna J. Barber was truly blessed and lived a long happy life. She was born in Navarre, Ohio on March 2, 1932 and departed this life on April 8, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Benik, her parents Earl and Marie Helman, and sister, Mary Ellen Johnson.

Donna leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Roy B. Barber, along with her son, Thomas (Mary Ann) Benik, daughter Patti (Gary) Schwitzgable, Niece's, Carolyn Koprivec, Joyce Chaffin, and Nephew, Kenneth Johnson.

Donna will be fondly remembered by her treasured friends, Dorothy & Reza Khorasani and Debbie & Chuck Priest.

Donna was employed in sales by the Columbus Dispatch, Worthington News and Consumer News. Her career also included office assistance at Asherton Village of Dublin, Joe Walker Real Estate and Remax North Real Estate.

Donna enjoyed boating at Lake Erie and spent many weekends with friends and family on Catawba Island. She was also extremely talented in creating silk floral arrangements for every season and holiday.

Special thank you to Dr. Michael Valez, Dr. Timothy Moore and Mount Carmel Hospice. Donna's family also wishes to acknowledge Dorothy and Debbie for their remarkable care and love bestowed upon her.

Burial will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio.
