Donna (Lowe) Guyton, 88, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024. She is preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Ron; son, Dale; parents, Tom and Helen Lowe; twin sister Doris and sister Mary; brothers, Herman and Harold; and grandson, Nicholas.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Debbie) and Mark (Paula); grandchildren, Cassie (Shane) Carter, Katie (Sidney) Guyton, Josh Guyton, and Heather Guyton; along with 12 great-grandchildren, nephew Steve (Kris) Lowe; nieces and her special niece and dear friend, Debbie Chaffins.
Donna was an avid bowler and traveled the country competing in tournaments with her twin sister Doris and niece Debbie. She was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan and traveled to watch them play in Dallas multiple times. She flew their flag in her yard, and displayed her love of "everything Cowboys" with her car decals and her vast Cowboys wardrobe. Donna and Ronnie started going to spring baseball training camp in 1977 and continued this for over 25 years, meeting up with their many Phillies fans that became part of their extended family. During the Beanie Baby era, Ron and Donna were known to travel miles seeking out the hottest one(s) on the market. For those that knew her, Donna was a lover of anything pink to a point that most of her wardrobe, her couches, her carpeting, and even her car had tints of pink in them. Donna was a loving stay-at-home Mom for her three boys but most importantly, treasured the times that she was able to spend watching her grandkids in their various sports activities and couldn't wait to do the same with her great-grandkids.
Donna was a lifelong blood donor to the American Red Cross and in lieu of flowers, donations to the American Red Cross would be appreciated.
