Donna Jean Baker

Donna Jean (Wellington) Baker, age 77, of Grove City, OH, passed away June 21, 2013 peacefully at home. Born March 30, 1936 in Ashville, Ohio to Josephine Lynn and Harry Wellington.

Donna is survived by her two sons Mark (Amy) Baker of Hilliard and Leonard (Pamela Bennett) Baker, III, of Grove City, OH, grandchildren; Rachel, Nathan, Phillip, Morgan, Owen Baker and Kristen Costlow; daughter-in-law Lora Baker; and sister Patricia (Tom) VanMeter; aunt Mary Holbrook; uncles Don (Dottie) Lynn, Carl (Hazel) Lynn, and Jerry (Cathy) Lynn; sister-in-law Alwena Hollon; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Leonard Baker, Jr.; parents Josephine "Jo" Sarah and Harry "Bo" Francis Wellington; in-laws Leonard and Henrietta "Pearl" Baker of Blanchester, OH; uncle Dick Lynn; nephew, Rick.

Formerly employed for over 25 years at Sears Distribution and also employed at Baker's Shoes and Monterey Nursing Home. A resident of Grove City for over 40 years with a large circle of extended family, friends and caring neighbors.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, with visitation one hour prior to services from 10 – 11 AM. Burial at Grove City Cemetery.
