Donna L. Zimmerman, 60, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Donna was born in Columbus, OH on July 22, 1953, to Calvin and Charlene (McCoy) Zimmerman and is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Branden.
Survivors include her daughters, Mia Huddleston, Megan Zimmerman, Mackenzie Zimmerman; sister, Vera (Steven) Chakeres; brothers, Calvin Zimmerman, Larry (Paula) Zimmerman and Donald (Judy) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Ashley Huddleston, Lillian (Levi) Perryman, Katelynn Dougherty, Matthew Zimmerman, Isabelle Briggs, Charissa Zimmerman, Emma Reaves, Sophie Bowser, Peter Wood III; great-granddaughter, Amelia Huddleston; aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Donna was a 1971 graduate of North High School and worked as a STNA for over 25 years. She worked for Northland Terrace, Mann Nursing Home, Minerva Park Place and most recently at Whetstone Gardens & Care Center.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, September 30, 2013, 4-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.
