Donna was a devoted wife and Mother who invested everything into her husband children and grandchildren. Family was almost everything to her with the exception of her quiet devotion to Christ. Her Christian belief and principles were how and why she was so devoted to her family. She was also very loyal & helpful to her friends. She was willing to help anyone at a moment's notice. She was very loving and was so appreciative of the love she received. She loved to please.
Wherever Donna was employed during her life, she was the most diligent employee. The two most significant jobs she had were as Employment Manager for the entirety of Toledo Hospital and Benefits Administrator for Toledo Scale / Mettler nationally.
Even though she did not have a college education, she excelled at those jobs and was promoted to positions that otherwise required a degree. She was extremely conscientious and loyal to her employers.
She made the best Sunday dinners for most of her life that will never be forgotten.
We will miss her greatly and are very sad this day, but we are extremely happy for her being freed from her failing body and now ecstatically enjoying Heaven with Jesus and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Please donate online at Ohioshospice.org and then select Ohio's Hospice LifeCare. They were absolutely wonderful.
