Donna June Wykle (Leopard) 65, of Gahanna, lost her second battle with cancer and passed away at St. Ann's Hospital on Wednesday, December 20, 2006, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born October 24, 1941, to the late Elta Irene Bowsher (Leopard) and John R. Leopard, Donna is preceded in death by brothers Robert E. and Ronald L. Leopard. Donna is a retired Columbus City Schools bus driver (Morse Rd. Compound) and former O.S.U. Print Shop typewetter for the Lantern. Survivors include her loving and faithful husband of 44 years, Arlan A. Wykle; daughter, Donna M. (Gregory) Hall of Westerville; grandson, Travis D. Duppen of Columbus; granddaughters, Dena R. and Devan M. Duppen of Westerville; brother, Richard F. (Cheri) Leopard of Reynoldsburg; sisters, Judy (Ernie) Spires of Gahanna and Patricia L. (Thomas) Caylor of Columbus; special cousins, Roger K. (Andrea) Myers of Columbus, and William "Bill" R. (Gayle) Rapp of Columbus; sisters-in-law, Mary K. Leopard of Columbus and Nancy L Wilcox (Leopard) of Columbus; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family and a host of friends. Donna was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was one of those special people who always looked after others first, never herself. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Special thanks to all the staff, nurses, and doctors on 3N and ICU at St. Ann's Hospital. Also, thanks to Father Lavelle and the Pastoral Care Staff at St. Ann's for all their support and prayers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006, from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH.
