Dora E. Morrison

Dora E. (Dotson) Morrison, age 94, born June 9, 1929 passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, December 4, 2023 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by her husband, James M. Morrison; father, Ira Dotson; mother, Emma Dotson; and nine brothers and sisters; as well as grandson, Mark Morrison. Dora is leaving behind four sons, Ed (Judy), Ron, Larry (Sandy), and Michael (Lois) Morrison; grandchildren, Ron (Melisa) Follrod, Greg Morrison, Daniel (Emily) Morrison, Hunter (Allison) Morrison, and Morgan Morrison; great-grandchildren, Robert Follrod, Anna (Jordan) Stevens, Gavin Morrison, John Parker "JP" Weaver; great-great-grandson, Jacob Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dora was the eldest member of The Church Triumphant. Dora enjoyed attending church, and spending time with her family and friends and of course her Little Debbie Raisin cakes. She was a great mom and friend. Her great sense of humor and affection will be missed.

Visitation Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10am until the time of Funeral Service at 11:30am at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. Pastor William Pellum to officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dora's name to The Church Triumphant, 1001 Vera Pl., Columbus, OH 43204.
