Doreen Chafin Albertini, 53, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by grandparents, Albert (Lexie) Chafin and Frances Schirl. Doreen is survived by loving husband of 35 years, Michael L. Albertini; parents, Thomas E. (Carrie) Chafin; daughter, Shelly Marie Finnerty (James); son, Michael Thomas (Brandi) Albertini; sisters, Patty (Victor) and Judy (Brad); grandchildren, Tayler, Antonio, Michelle, Brennan, and Christopher; sister-in-law, Sheryl (George); brother-in-law, Mike (Nina); numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where the funeral service will be Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 1 P.M. Pastor Phillip Duncan officiating. Interment Kingwood Cemetery.
