Doris Lucille Harvey

Doris L. Harvey, 88, of Gahanna, died after a brief illness on Monday, March 14, 2022, at the Country View nursing home in Sunbury.
The eldest of five children, Doris was born in Strongsville, Ohio on May 21, 1933. She graduated from Westerville High in 1952, and married Orville Fout in 1953. After mourning his passing n 1972, she married Ben Harvey in 1977. She eventually retired from Grange Mutual Insurance Company with the third longest tenure of any employee.
She was preceded in death by her parents Neil and Frances "Dutch" (Conrad) Cavinee, her sister Rita Wooten, and her husband Ben Harvey. She is survived by her son Charles "Randy" Fout, her grandchildren Sarah and Michael "Andy" Fout, her uncle Jim Conrad, and her brothers Jerry, Ralph, and Kenny Cavinee. Her nephew Andy Cavinee and Patty cared for Doris in her declining years.
A graveside service will be conducted at Mifflin Cemetery in Gahanna on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 10:00 am.
