Doris Robinson, 81, Columbus, passed away Monday, August 30, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Rocky Mount, NC on March 6, 1929, to Audrey M and Susan W. (Proctor) Crawford and is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Richard L. Robinson. Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Clive) Cooper and Gail (Valente) Alvarez; brother, Audrey Mack (Estelle) Crawford; grandchildren, Miguel (Olga) Alvarez, Daniel and Elizabeth Alvarez; niece, nephews, cousins and many friends. Doris worked in the auto industry for 30 years and enjoyed traveling, the arts and her friends and family. Doris supported the Humane Society and the Disabled American Veterans. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Blendon Central Cemetery, 6350 Hempstead Rd. Westerville, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Franklin County Humane Society at http://franklincountyhumanesociety.org.
