Doris Irene Strider

Doris Irene Strider, born April 3, 1933 in Hilliard, Ohio passed away October 4, 2023 at Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark, Ohio.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ivadell (Conway) Strider; her brother, Harold Strider and sisters Hilda Jean Baughman, Ruth Sowers, and Flora "Toots" Davis, as well as two nephews and a niece.
Doris is survived by sister, Evelyn Johnson of Lancaster, Ohio; sister-in-law, Nancy Strider of Newark, Ohio and brother in-law, Jim Davis of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Doris is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Mifflin High School in 1951, Doris had a 39 year career working for Dun and Bradstreet in their Columbus office. She was a former member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Columbus. Following her retirement and the passing of her parents, Doris spent a year with the United Methodist Church volunteering at McCurdy Mission School in New Mexico. She also served several years a volunteer with Red Cross.
Per Doris' request, cremation will take place and no services will be held. She will be buried in Eastview Cemetery in Centerburg, Ohio next to her parents.
