Dorothy A Jones

Dorothy A. "Dot" Jones, 77, of Columbus passed away April 21, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Dot was the daughter of the late Everett and Georgia Dye of Center Point, WV, also preceded in death by son, David L. Jones and sister, Nadine D. Perkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gene Jones whom she married in 1955 in Clendenin, WV; sons, Larry R., Gregory D. and Brian D. Jones; brother, Darrel (Nedra) Dye of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Shayla Jones and numerous relatives and friends. visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the funeral home with long time family friend Rev. Kevin Behrer officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America or Central Ohio Parkinson Society.
