Dorothy Albert, 86, of Columbus, passed away September 28, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Frances (Stump) Green; son, Jerold and brother, Donald. Dorothy is survived by her children, Matthew (Jennifer), James (Susan), Chad and Norman Albert; grandchildren, Carly, Kyle, Lindsay, Brett, Daniel and Kyle; brother, Kenneth and special niece, Cathy Green and nephews, Scott Green, Robert and Donald Green. Dorothy was a graduate of Orange High School in Delaware County and was an avid painter and artist. She was the owner of Enchanted Mirror Beauty Salon for 35 years and was a member of St. Cecelia Parish. Dorothy never stopped her continued support and involvement in projects that would better the West Side. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Monday, October 1, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Graveside services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice for cancer research. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
