Dorothy Marie Gamble, 75, of Columbus, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
Dorothy was born April 4, 1946 in Columbus, OH to Oscar Ward and Betty Orr.
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her; children Michael Gamble, Kevin Gamble; grandchildren Carrie Gamble, Kevin Gamble Jr.; brothers Oscar Ward Jr.; sisters Beverly Grooms, Ginger Pruitt 5 nieces and nephews along with many other family and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothy was a loving person all her life. She was generous with her kindness and devotion to her family and friends. Dorothy was always positive, even in the worst of times and had been a controversial person with her own point of view. Her found happiness in sewing, art, crafting, traveling, bowling and being accepted for who she was. Her love and devotion to her family was easily seen, she was always trying to make her children better people. Everyone who knew her will always cherish their memories of her, especially now when it comes to saying goodbye to a mother, sister and friend.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 6, from 3pm until the time of service at 4pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
