Dorothy Loew, 77, of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Village of Westerville. She was born March 20, 1934, in Barberton, OH, daughter of the late Philip and Mary Guisinger Wagner. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wagner; sister, Betty Lou Goble and special friend, Travis Zeto. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Lester Loew; daughters, Angela Loew and Mary (John) Messer; sons, Jesse E., Rickey L. (Vonna), Anthony (Linda), Criss D. (Liz) and Lee (Tina) Loew; brother, Donald (Judy) Wagner; sister Eileen Smith; best friend, Rachel Halcomb; beloved cat, Kitty Babe; twenty-two grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office- FRAN, 870 Michigan Ave. Columbus, OH 43215.
