Dorothy Marie Bedell, 94, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Carriage Court Communities. She was born June 1, 1915, in Champaign, Co., daughter of the late John and Ida. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Loren Bedell; brothers, Walter and John Kress; sisters, Elizabeth Long, Margaret Lefever and Helen Stanley. She is survived by her son, John (Jane) Bedell; daughters, Patricia (Richard) Mulvany, Peggy (Robert) Halley and Sally (Gregg) Fleming; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Graveside service will be Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Concord Cemetery, 6244 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South-Western Educational Foundation, 3805 Marlane Drive Grove City, Ohio 43123.
