Dorothy M. Mercer, 86 years old, passed away on Tuesday, May 18th, 2010. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, country western music, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Flossie (Dearth) Ragan, her husband of 13 years, John Richard Mercer, son, Gary Lee Mercer, brother, Tom Ragan, and grandson, Randy Mercer. Dorothy is survived by two daughters Linda (James) Lorentz and Carolyn (Paul) Freshour, one son, John Mercer, six grandchildren, Kelly (Todd) Welch, John Leo Mercer, Jamie Lorentz, Gary (Danielle) Freshour, Angie (Brandon) McKenzie, and Ricky Mercer, and three great grandchildren, Owen, Dylan and Serafine Freshour.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 21st, 2010, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
Graveside Service will be on Friday, May 21st, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lafayette Street/Rte 42, London, OH 43140.
