Dorothy Miller-Serig, 86, of Westerville, passed away Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Village at Westerville Retirement Center. She was born October 9, 1920, in Lancaster, daughter of the late Porter and Pauline Dollison Kauffman. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Lloyd Miller and husband of 14 years, Chester Serig; brother, Carl Kauffman and sister, Marie Moorefield . She is survived by a son, Porter (Priscilla) Miller of Richmond, IN; daughter, Sue Ann (David) Dykes of Columbus; grandchildren, Joseph (Lilis) Dykes of Canal Winchester, Tracy (Steve) Thayer of Hilliard, Amy (Brent) Haynes of Richmond, IN, and Joshua (Katie Pawelczak) Miller of Dayton; great grandchildren, Lexi, Janie, Zachary and Gabby Thayer, Jackson and Jacob Haynes; brother-in-law, Clarence Miller; cousin, Harold Fultz both of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 1:00PM in the chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street, with visitation one hour prior to services at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice 6500 Busch Blvd. Suite 210 Columbus, OH 43229. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E.
