Dorothy Anne Pedersen, 69, of Westerville, passed away at home, surrounded by her daughters on February 25, 2024 after a long battle with Cancer. She was born on August 13, 1954 in Buffalo, New York to the late Gladys Weppler.
Those left to cherish her memories include two daughters, Shelly (Joe) Lovell of Pickerington and Lisa Pedersen-VanMeter (Robert) of Pataskala; grandchildren, Adysen Pedersen-Lovell, Arabella Lovell, Theo Lovell, & Grand pet River VanMeter; siblings, Carmella Hessler, John Weppler & Judy Penick . Those who preceded Dorothy in death include, Gladys Weppler & her beloved pet Pappi The Pappion.
Dorothy worked in the General Assembly Department for General Motors. She also worked at the School for the blind and felt proud of her time in both positions. When she wasn't working in her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her Daughters at Wyndot Lake, feeding the ducks on Scioto River, listening to music and was proud of her athleticism, including water skiing.
Dorothy, A.K.A Dottie loved to laugh, dance, sing and her daughters and Grandchildren were her biggest accomplishment in life. Whoever met Dottie felt her presence as she always left a lasting impression.
Visitation from 9am to 11am, Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Newcomer Funeral, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, 43231. Small prayer service to be held at 10:45am. Family and guests are to meet at Sunset Cemetery 6959 W broad St Galloway, OH 432119, at 11:50am, Saturday.
