Dorothy J. Saunders, 78, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on January 31st, 2021.
She was born in Statesboro, GA on December 24, 1942 to the late Oscar and Eula Mae (Smith) Lewis; and adopted by her parents, the late Henry and Myrtle Newman.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert Lee (Jackie) Saunders, Sr.
Surviving family includes sons, Robert L. (Yvonne) Saunders, Jr., Jonathon E. (Amy) Saunders; grandchildren; Justice, Jonathon ; special friend, John Byrd; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Dorothy retired from Sears after 35 years. She loved to travel and loved the Lord.
She will be truly missed by those who knew her.
Private burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston - OH.
