Dorothy L. Smith, 73, originally from Chillicothe, passed away September 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by parents, Alexander W. and Ruth Wetzel Bellmore; brothers, Gary (Dorothy Gail) Walsh and Donald Walsh.
She is survived by sister-in-law, Billie Walsh; brother, Treat (Sheriann) Bellmore; children, Nancy Williams, Douglas Young, Rhonda Stoner and Karl (Amy) Smith; grandchildren, Lewis, Richard, Phillip, Jennifer (Brian), Paige and Karie; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Nickolas, Nathaniel and Olivia; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Retired from State Auto Insurance. Dorothy was an avid reader and lover of all animals.
Visitation Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 5pm until the time of Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Private Burial at Green Lawn Cemetery in Chillicothe, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, OH 43026-8990.
