Dorothy "Dottie" Elizabeth (Bartley) Wilhide, passed September 29, 2023 at The Grand of Dublin.
She was born in Clark County, OH on May 5, 1924 to the late Elmer E Bartley 1875-1956 and Elizabeth Wise 1885-1960.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her son Steven E. Schlosser 1950-2013 as well as all nine of her brothers and sisters: Edith N. 1904-1950, Ethel M. 1905-1987, Velma M. 1915-1992, Margaret R. 1926-1994, Ward J. 1908-1997, Clarence E. 1911-1986, Elmer E. 1913-1990, Joseph R. 1918-1993 and Elden E. 1923-1974. Also, the father of her three children Earl Joseph Schlosser 1919-1978, her second husband, Robert L. Wilhide 1933-2012 and fiancé Raymond E Ruoff 1918-2017.
She is survived by daughter Nanciann Bowles (Wayne C 1941-2013) of Orient, daughter-in-law Mary Lynn Schlosser of Columbus, son Mark A Schlosser (Vickie) of Plain City, grandchildren Michael J Szall, Jeffrey S (Laura) Szall, Stephen Scott Schlosser, Stephen Shawn (Nicole) Schlosser, Amy L Davis, Heidi E (Jerrod) Walls and Austin A (Lauren) Schlosser, great grandchildren Jordan, Justin, Ariyanna, Taylah, Lauren, Sierra, Hayden, Camden, Layne, Tanner, Tillie and Tenley, nieces Patty (Chris) Coleman, Pam (DJ) Brannon and many more nieces and nephews.
She worked and retired from Big Bear Stores. She was very proud to get her GED later in life. She loved to spend time with her family. Enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, sewing, traveling, and playing cards with friends.
