Dorthea R. Gale - Matthews was born in Columbus, OH on September 30, 1976 to Billy and Doretha (Burgess) Gale. She went home to be with the Lord at the age of 46 on November 18, 2022.
Dorthea loved the Lord and throughout her life was a member of Holy Temple Church of God Inc., and Friendship Pentecostal Church. Dorthea enjoyed gospel music and her favorite statement was "Blessed and Highly Favored". Although Dorthea experienced many struggles in this life, she kept the faith and she finished her journey.
She is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Doretha (Burgess) Gale and her grandparents. Survivors include her daughter, Geneva; many family members and many friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 11:30am, at Sunset Memorial Garden, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway - OH 43119.
