He was born on April 4, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio to Randy Blanton and Patty Blanton.
Doug is preceded in death by father, Randy Blanton.
Doug is survived by wife, Christina Blanton; mother, Patty Blanton; sons, Randy (Jennifer) Blanton, Cain Caudill, Christopher (Maranda) Blanton, daughters, Kaylee Blanton, Kaycee Blanton, Angel Blanton; grandchildren, Jacob Blanton, Jasmine Crumbie, Jordan Crumbie, Tra'Shawn Draughon; sisters, Amie (Mark) Hawley, Randi (Robert) Layfield, Crystal (Mike) Smith, brother, Billy (Megan) Sauer; grandmother, Leona (PeeWee) May and a host of family and friends.
Doug will be remembered for the love he had for his family and his one of a kind sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, July 8, 20203 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 am also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
