Douglas Edward Buchanan, 46, of Grove City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 24, 2008. He was born January 23, 1962, in Columbus. Douglas is preceded in death by his father, James Buchanan. He is survived by his wife, Tina Buchanan; son, Gary; daughter, Crystal Buchanan; mother, Patricia Buchanan; brothers, Robert (Pam) and Troy Buchanan; sister, Yvonne (Roger) Straight; nephew, Kyle Buchanan; nieces, Alexis Straight and Kristin Buchanan. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Franklin Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, c/o Mt. Carmel Hospice Foundation, 793 West State Street Columbus, Ohio 43222.
