Douglas Clemons, 54, of Grove City, passed away unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident. He was preceded in death by his Granny Pratt and his mother Inize Clemons. Doug is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughters Desiree Clemons, Cheryl Carney; sons Devlin Clemons, Wayne Sever; grandchildren Megan, Ian and Donovan Carney and Anthony and Michael Sever; sister Bernice and brothers Dale, Kenny, David, Pete, Mark, Elsworth and Jerry. Doug was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grove City and the Painters Union 1275. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed NASCAR but, especially loved watching the OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Doug was loved by all for his heart of gold. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio with Rev. Jerry Neal officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Friday, September 9, 2005 at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
