Douglas G. Kirk

Douglas G. Kirk, 74, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Roy and Dorothy Kirk. Doug served in the United States Marine Corps and was a combat veteran in Vietnam. Following his military service, Doug worked as a self employed contractor building custom homes and working remodeling projects. Following his construction career, Doug worked for Forward Financial Group for 25 years as a Regional Vice President. In retirement, Doug was very active leading the Vet-2-Vet small group at Faith Life Church and ministering to disabled veterans. He never met a stranger, loved leading people to Jesus, and was devoted to his family. He was preceded in death by his sister Kim and brother Jeff. He is survived by his wife (Susan) of 53 years, children Matt (Wendy) Kirk, Ally (Spike) Wray-Kirk and grandchildren, Arianna, Adelynn and Benjamin and sister (Gayle Kirk).
