Dow Norman Jr., 70, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Mt. Carmel East. He was born August 18, 1939, in Columbus, son of the late Dow and Helen Male Norman Sr. In addition to his parents, Dow was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Souders Norman and brother, Tony Norman. He retired from the Army and served during Vietnam. Dow is survived by his sons, Dow (Shelly) Norman III, John (Heather) Norman and Steve Norman; daughter, Wendy (Rick) Becker; sister, Sharon Bennett; sister-in-law, Joanne Norman; five grandchildren seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. Memorial service will be Monday, July 19, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd Columbus, with visitation one hour prior to services.
