Dr. G. Crabtree

Dr. Steven G. Crabtree, age 65, passed away on December 18, 2020. He was born on March 27, 1955 to the Clyde Earl Crabtree and Dorothy L. (Linley) Crabtree.

Steven received his Doctor of Divinity from Logos Graduate School in 2000. He pastored Victory Life Ministries in Paris, PA from 1994-2005. He then co-pastored at Calvary Road Community Church in Grove City until he took his Amazing Journey to meet his Lord. He was a prophet of God and the Lord gave him great word. He loved talking with others about the Word of God. He has inspired and he touched the lives of many people. Steven was an over the road truck driver for many years until the Lord called him to preach.

Steven loved his children and his grandchildren. He married his high school sweetheart Reata M. Speakman on September 15, 1973. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Reata; sons, Gregory (Tiffany), Thomas (Amber); daughter, Amy (Todd) Berry; grandchildren, Jordan, Todd Jr., Alexis, Aleah, Isaiah and Kaylee; mother, Dorothy Crabtree; sisters, Cheryl Alloway and Kathy Conley; brother-in-law, Rev. Gilbert Jarrell; special friends, Robert And Wendy Boyer; along with many other family members including nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Earl Crabtree; brother, Michael A. Crabtree; sisters, Susan K. Sigman Black, Vicky F. Jarrell; brother-in-laws, Larry A. Sigman, William Black and Donald Conley.

There will be a special Memorial Tribute for Steven and Reata on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Road Community Church, 5108 Norton Road in Grove City with Pastor Rick Murphy officiating. Doors will open at Noon for a gathering prior to the service. The service will be livestream for those who are not able to make it to the service. Those who plan to attend, we respectfully ask that you wear a face mask. Masks will be provided if needed. Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
