E. David Darby

E. David "Dave" Darby, age 83, passed away on October 10, 2022. He was born on April 13, 1939 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Paul and Muriel Darby. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gail (Headlee) Darby; children, Mark (Stephnie) Darby, Mindy Darby, Michael (Debbie) Darby; 9 grandchildren, Ryan Wise, Richelle (Nick) Nunamaker, Lindy (Nick) Severance, Tiffany (Dave) Feeley, Scott Sheibley, Justin Darby, Samantha (Harley) Deen, Jordan Darby, and Jeffrey (Kaitlyn) Darby; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Janet (Dick) Wolfe; cousin, Karen (Bill) Buchholz; many nieces and nephews. He was a meat manager all his life and he also was a western square dancer for 23 years. He was a car fanatic and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Grove City, where he ushered for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Ohio Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association. Friends may call at the First Baptist Church of Grove City, 3301 Orders Rd, Grove City, OH 43123 on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10:30am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Big Darby Cemetery.
