Earl R. "Dick" Hoffmeyer, 70, Columbus, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Dick was born to Earl and Isa (Kocher) Hoffmeyer in Alliance, OH on May 27, 1940, and is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sons, Scott and Mark (Kristy) Hoffmeyer; step-daughter, Heidi (Joe) Bechtel; grandchildren, Katelyn, Nicole and Carson Hoffmeyer and Adrienne, Adelle and Adam Bechtel; former wife, Karen (Cookie) Hoffmeyer; life long friends, Pete Gligor and Ken Krauss; cousins and many friends. A graduate of Alliance High School and Mount Union College, Dick retired from Ross Laboratories in Columbus. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, at Dick's home from 7:00-9:00 PM.
