Earl West Starkey Jr.

Earl W. Starkey Jr., aged 87, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022. He was born on June 4, 1934 to the late Earl W. and Maebelle (Wickham) Starkey.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann and his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley.
Earl is survived by his children, Dennis (Debbie) Starkey, Pamela (Tony) Rice, Debbie (Mike) Medek; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He retired from Coca-Cola after 35 years of service. Earl was an avid motorcycle racer and enthusiast. He obtained his private pilot license during his retirement. Earl loved to laugh and was known to pull a friendly prank on those that he loved.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kathy Dodd.
The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer-SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 followed by a graveside service at Green Lawn Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to The Desert Island Social and Recovery Club, 501 Josephine Ave, Columbus, OH 43204
