Earnest Wheeland

Earnest L. Wheeland 62, of Columbus passed away Sunday, May 23, 2004 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Earnest retired from Yellow Freight. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Ruth (Markham) Wheeland; brother Raymond H. "Butch" Wheeland and Aunt Mill. Survived by children Robin (Doug) Curry of CO, Joni (Bret) Turney of Galloway, Carol (Jeff) Bowers of Hilliard, Leslie (Joe) Holbrook of Pataskala and Ernie (Lori) Wheeland of Newark ; sister Susan (Kurt) Chapman of KY; grandchildren Britny, Justin, Jessica, Jillie, Jamie, Jennie, Kayla, Kelsea, Kaysea, Aaron, Zachary, Brandon and Nathan; close cousin, B.J. Mack and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial service will be Saturday, 12:30 PM with family receiving friends at 11:30 AM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road. A Celebration of Life Barbecue will immediately follow the memorial service . Pastor Owen Stotts is officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family to assist with expenses.
