Eath Kuch, 100, of Columbus, OH passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 1, 1913 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She has been living in the United States since 1982.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was well known for her amazing authentic home cooking. She was generous and played a very influential role in the Columbus Cambodian Community.
She is survived by her daughters Sinath Nuon, Pum Phin, son-in-law Sophea Nuon, grandchildren, Chanthoeun Nuon, Chanthou Nuon-Em, Chanthorn Nuon, Chanthina Nuon, Pronh Phin, Chan Ran Phin, Chan Ron Phin, Map Phin, Mary Phin, Chumlong Phin, great-grandchildren, Chantara McCreary, Mariee McCreary, Angelina Phin, Megan Phin, and Mackara Nuon-Em.
The family would like to thank Mount Carmel West's ICU, Palliative Care, and Hospice staff for the exceptional care they provided in her final days.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 5:00-7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory – SW Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory – SW Chapel. Buddhist Ceremony will be held on both days.
