Edd Vanderpool

Edd "Heavy Heavy" Vanderpool, age 75 of Grove City, OH, passed away on May 25, 2023. He was born on August 7, 1947 to late Sage and Dorothy (Wells) Vanderpool in Weeksbury, KY. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son Rory Vanderpool, brothers Larry and Terry Vanderpool. Edd is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Robin (Wade) Vanderpool, children Kathy Vanderpool, Eddie H. Vanderpool, Tesa (Fred Burchett) Vanderpool-Castle, Shana (Christopher) Vanderpool-Hunley and Selena (Jose) Vanderpool-Martinez, grandchildren Dalton, Sierra, Ty, Saige, Andrew, Ava, Trinity, Aiden, Sadie, Christina and Isabella, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Edd served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, retired from the State of Ohio working as a Veteran Outreach Specialist in 1999.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of service at 4:30pm with Kenny McClary officiating.
