Eddie Hamilton

Edward James Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, July 13, at his home. Eddie received his Master's Degree in Legal Studies from West Virginia University and used that degree to benefit the many community organizations in which he was active.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rita (Compton) Hamilton and his sister, Chris Lowrimore. He is survived by his husband, Kenneth Satterfield-Hamilton; his sister, Karen (Larry) Shelor; niece, Monica (Eric) Tignor; nephew, Ryan Shelor; and great-nephew, Calvin Tignor, all of Christiansburg, Virginia, as well as many friend and family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, Grove City, Ohio. The family will receive visitors at the Chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m., with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
