Eddie Lee Terrell, 99, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Born to Jeremiah and Lessie (Fortenberry) Jones on June 2, 1910, in Picayune, Mississippi. Eddie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Willie Mae Jones Tucker, Jessie Mae Jones and Annie Bea Jones Austin; brothers, Jerry, Johnnie L and George Lewis Jones; aunts, Stella Fortenberry and Mary Fortenberry Bond; uncles, Sam and Buddy Fortenberry. Survivors include 1st cousins, Julius (Charlene) Harris, Sanders (Melvine) Draughn and M.L. (Juanita) Draughn; 2nd cousins, Jimmie (Ceola) Harris; special nieces, Ann (Eddie) Jones Jackson and Connie Jones Hart; special "Guardian Angel", Wayne Carter, who adopted Eddie as "Grannie". Funeral Service, Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Interment to follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
