Eddy Gomer Jr.
June 22, 1960 — April 3, 2021
Eddy Gomer Jr., age 60, of Grove City, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his residence after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; children Ian Montgomery (Amber) of Waverly, Jaime Gomer (Terrell), of Grove City, Crystal (Mark) Pauley of Spencer WV., and Ashley Williams (EJ) of Johnstown.
He was a proud Pappy to 6 grandchildren; Mason, Jaelyn, Camille, Corrina, Everett, and Brinley. He is also survived by his brother, Tim Gomer, of California; sister, Marsha (Ralph) Perez of Indiana; mother in law, Martha Deemer, of Minford, Ohio; father in law, Jesse Johnson, of Fostoria, Ohio; as well as many amazing family members and dear friends whom he loved dearly and had so many wonderful adventures with.
Eddy was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Gomer and Beverly Knouff Henry, and two infant children; Timothy and Christy Ann.
Eddy never met a stranger and treated everyone with compassion and respect. Most of all Eddy loved God, his family, and truly had a heart for others. He served in the US Coast Guard, was a business owner, and a member of the Leave A Mark Church.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00pm, with a visitation beginning at 11:00am at the Leave A Mark Church 4818 Parsons Ave., Columbus, Ohio with Pastor Steve Combs officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
