Edith A. "Sambo" Berman, age 70, of Westerville passed away Saturday, February 28, 2004 at the Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, Westerville.
Preceded in death by her son David M. Thompson; husband Stanford Thompson, and parents Elisha & Elizabeth Johnson; sisters Imogene, Lorraine and Bessie. Survived by her children Nancy Appleman of Delaware, Sharon (Michael) Castle of Columbus, Carolyn (Pharis) Perry of Columbus, Robbie Thompson of Columbus and Jeffrey Thompson of Columbus; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; brother Ernest Johnson of W.V.
Visitation Wednesday from 5-7 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin Granville Road. Columbus. Funeral service 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
