Edith Lawhorn

Edith Lawhorn, 84 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Edith Lawhorn was born May 23, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William Johnson and Ruth Ward. Her hobbies and interests were sewing, singing, spending time with children and family, and serving the public. 

Edith will be deeply missed by Cheryl (Duane) Lumpkin, Derrick (Cynthia) Ward, Anthony (Diane) Ward, Mohammed (Pam) Dean, Salema (Richard) Almore, Miriam (Jackie) Deen, Edith (Ronald) Johnson, Scean (Diane) Lawhorn, Shannon (Dearea) Lawhorn, and Marie Lawhorn. In addition, Edith is survived by her brother, John Ward Jr.; sisters, Pricilla (Tom) Hull and Ruth Sherrod; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Hezekiah M. Lawhorn; daughter, Veronica Pierce; and son, Alonzo W. Lawhorn.
