Edith B. Wade, 91, of Columbus, passed away August 10, 2022. Edie was born August 3, 1931 in Helen, West Virginia to the late Charles and Susie (Mitchell) Breckenridge.
She attended and worked at Living Waters Christian Fellowship for many years where she was a ministered and taught many classes and attended Born to Win Ministries. Edie retired from Ohio Youth Commission and Isabell Ridgeway. She loved working crossword puzzles, games on her tablet and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Edie will be deeply missed by her; children Sheila Palmer, Karen (Charles) Jordan, Steven (Linda) Wade; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara and Freda Breckenridge and Doris Williams along with many other family and friends.
Edie was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Wade, son Charles Wade II, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and 2 grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:30pm at Living Waters Christian Fellowship 1824 Cleveland Ave., Columbus. Burial will be at Union Cemetery at a later date.
