Edna L. Henderson, 78, of Columbus, went to be with The Lord, February 26, 2008. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leslie "Bud" and parents, James and Goldie Semons. Edna is survived by her daughters, Edna (Roger) Yontz, Cindy Sweeney; sons, Robert "Bobby" Nichols, Kevin (Paula) Henderson and Jake Sweeney; very special sister, Helen Stiles; brother-in-law, Garland Buckner; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews; a host of other family, friends and her beloved dog, Emily Sue. Edna retired from General Motors. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #164. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to HomeReach Hospice, Dr. Amy Kelley and staff and Dr. Leslie Laufman and staff. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
