Edna Mae McCarty, 81, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008. Edna was born December 6, 1926 in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Homer and Helen Sheets. In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. McCarty; daughter, Jean Ann Dugger; grandson, Paul Dugger; great granddaughter, Theresa Kay Dugger; and brother, Lewis Sheets. Edna is survived by daughters, Connie (Randy) Robinholt, and Carmen (Kevin) Holden; sisters, Relva Vanburen, Myrtle Doty, and Nora Wells; brother, George Sheets; 10 grandchildren and their spouses; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
