Edna M. Murphy, 95, London, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009. Born to E.M. and Henrietta (Carson) Porter in Morgantown, WV., on March 21, 1913, Edna is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Lincoln Miller and second husband, John B. Murphy; daughter-in-law, Claudia C. Miller; infant brother; sister, Mary A. Jones. Survivors include her son, C. William (Linda) Miller; grandchildren, Kevin W. (Heidi) Miller and Melissa Miller; step-grandchildren, Dan (Lisa) Cash Jr, Bryan (Carrie) Cash and Susan (Bryan) Burnham; 9 great-grandchildren. Edna was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ and the Westland Seniors. Edna and her husband John Miller owned and operated the Miller's Grocery for 20 years and she worked for Schuman's Meats until her retirement in 1997. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009, 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 24, 2009, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
