Edna Settles, 99, Columbus, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010. Edna was born in England on November 22, 1910,to John and Ethel Weate and is preceded in death by her parents;husband, Charlie E. Settles I; son, Charlie E. Settles II; great-granddaughter, Heaven Leeann Harshbarger; brother, John Weate. Survivors include her sister, Maud Jones; daughter-in-law, Denice Settles; grandchildren, Charlie E. (Tracy) Settles III, Chris (Angie) Settles, Jay (Marilyn Johnson) Settles, Carey (Brian) Harshbarger; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Levi, Chris II, Charlie, Kylia, Briann, Raymon, Jay II, Leah, Brilee. Edna was a long time member of the Southside Church of Christ. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, August 26, 2010, 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
