Edward E. DeWeese, 82 of Columbus, passed away on July 10, 2013 at First Community Village. Born on February 6, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio. He enjoyed all sports and music. Edward was an avid Steelers and OSU fan.
Survived by children Michael (Angie) DeWeese, Lori DeWeese, Douglas (Gale) DeWeese, Jodi (Mark) Buschjost, Mark (Linda) DeWeese, Gregory DeWeese and Jeffrey DeWeese; grandchildren Kim, Erin, Shawn, Kevin, Richie, Nicole, Jessica, Hunter, Jamie and Devin; 11 great grandchildren; mother of his children and friend Nancy DeWeese Hawkins; special friend Mary Teagardener; The Cherry Blossom Ladies.
Preceded in death by parents William and Margaret (Soli) DeWeese.
Visitation will be held, Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3933 Broadway, Grove City from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00am with Pastor Gilbert R. Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery, Grove City, OH.
