Edward Ellis, 86, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2012. He was born in Proctorville, OH on April 22, 1925.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Edward was co-founder and retired from General Scale Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Virgie (Black) Ellis, wife, Olyne (Lehman) Ellis and sister, Eloise Holton. Surviving family includes, daughters, Carol (John) Bennett, Christie (Charles) Wolfe, sons, Wayne (Wilma) Ellis, Paul (Patricia) Ellis, Frank (Dixie) Ellis, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes, private services will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Edward can be made to Acclaim Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr., Suite 140, Columbus, OH 43231.
Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH has assisted the family.
