Edward Lee Finley
August 6, 1930 — June 2, 2022
Edward Lee Finley, 91, passed away June 2, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and James Finley; son, Dean E. Finley. Edward is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marjorie Finley; children, Janet (Thomas) Ketteler, John (Robin) Finley and Douglas (Deborah) Finley; granddaughter, Laura Jacoby; great-granddaughters, Camilla, Adelaide, and Emerson.
His career took him through many roles in education, including 15 years at Franklin University. Edward was active at his church, Ascension Lutheran. He had a life long love of jazz music, which included playing in various dance bands.
Gathering Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 10am until the time of Memorial Service at 11am at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Rd., Columbus, OH 43229.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward's name to the church.
