Edward J. Mowery, 56, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Preceded in death by his parents, Donovan and Ann (Mount) Mowery. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Margie (Ball) Mowery; daughter, Jill (Mike) Gray; his only and very special granddaughter, Erin Gray, who referred to her grandpa as "Gah"; sisters, Lynne Edwards, Cathy (Michael) Gleim and Anell (Max) Haque; brothers, Don (Carol), Tom (Lynne), and Gregg (Christina) Mowery. Ed served in the US Army and owned and operated Mercury Graphics, along with Margie, for 18 years. Ed's family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH where a Memorial Service will follow at 8PM. In lieu of flowers, Odyssey Hospice, 540 Officenter Place, Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230 or Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026.
