Edward H. Rodgers Jr. "Butch"

Edward H. Rodgers, Jr. “Butch,” born January 7, 1947 passed away October 18, 2024, peacefully surrounded by family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his Father Edward H. Rodgers, Sr, Mother Phyllis and sister Margaret H. McQuate.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Cheryl L. Rodgers; Sons Edward H. Rodgers, III (Lorrie) and Luther H. Rodgers (Peggy), Daughter Mindy Jo Hall (Shane), Stepdaughter Tammie Crump (Rick), Stepson Gregg Martin (Marcie), Brother Shan Rodgers (Cindy), 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, Brother-in-law, Eric McQuate, 1 niece and 3 nephews, Special Friends: Charlie & Wendy Wilson, Mike Chapin & Brian Heaston.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and retired from UPS after 36 years of service. 

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, collecting Coke memorabilia and Lionel trains, and liked to tinker with watches.

Visitation Monday, October 28, 2024 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, OH.
